The Closest I Got To That

Flunky:"Sythyry! Your head is glowing!"

Me:"Yes. It is."

Flunky:"Why is that?"

Me:"I hate my job."

Flunky:"Your job?...oh. Well, you'd better get rid of it soon."

Me:"How? Also, why?"

Flunky:"You're the Zi Ri, you should know how. And because the Duke has requested your presence at the opening of the Legeriat tomorrow morning. It Would Not Do to have such a thing on your head, especially if the Duke doesn't."

Oh, dearie. The Duke usually is accompanied by a few persons worthy of mention at the start of each Legeriat season.

Me:"Tomorrow morning."

Flunky:"Yes; two hours after dawn."

Me:"That is not a convenient time for an enchantment student." Because, of course, enchantment work has to be done at dawn, and takes as long as it takes -- usually more than two hours.

Flunky:"The Duke does not arrange his schedule for the convenience of enchantment students."

Me:"It's not as if I set it up that way. The gods did."

Flunky:"The Duke does not arrange his schedule for the convenience of the gods."

Me:"... right ... "

Flunky:"And be sure to get that damned light off your head before then!"

So, should I: (a) Pay a ton of money and spend most of the day trying to get a spellweaver to take the spell off? or (b) Go beg Vae to take it off?
